One of the aims of MSo is to promote the work of all sections of the medical sociology academic community, including postgraduate students. We are therefore delighted to be able to publish the Abstracts from recently completed PhD Theses here on our website and in the journal.

We would welcome Theses that discuss topics across the broad field of medical sociology including, but not limited to: health and illness experience; health professions and occupations; sexuality and reproductive health; death and dying; bioethics; infectious disease; globalisation; substance misuse and addiction; gender; health policy development; science technology and medicine; mental health; cancer; public health.
