BLOOMSBURY DOCTORAL TRAINING CENTRE (DTC) FOR THE SOCIAL SCIENCES

The Bloomsbury DTC is a consortium of four University of London colleges in the Bloomsbury area. We  invite applications from high calibre candidates with good honours degrees for full and part-time ESRC-funded research studentships. There are studentships available in the following social science disciplines and multidisciplinary areas at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine:

Demography
Health and Wellbeing
Social Policy
Quantitative Methods

You will receive cutting-edge training in social science research methods and be supervised by world-leading researchers in departments rated as excellent in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise. For information on our programmes and on how to apply, go to

Funding to cover both fees and stipends at the Home/EU rate will be available for entry in October 2012. International students pursuing research  using advanced quantitative methods can also be considered for studentships.
