Lecturer in Qualitative Research Methods
(Permanent, 17.5 hours per week)


The School wishes to appoint a part-time lecturer to play a key role in delivering postgraduate teaching in qualitative research methods related to health.This will include module leadership, teaching large and small groups, development of new materials, project supervision, and assessment preparation and marking.The postholder will also be encouraged to develop research interests leading to published papers.

Applicants should have a passion for teaching and a flair for communication.In addition to a qualification related to qualitative research methods, applicants should have expertise in conducting
qualitative research studies, ideally in a health setting. A background in sociology would be an advantage.

The appointment will be made on the non-clinical lecturer scale SGUL 7 from £39,810 to £46,964 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
