Clive Seale, holder of the ‘Sir Michael Perrin Chair of Medical Sociology’ at Barts and the London (the school of medicine located within Queen Mary, University of London, in the heart of London’s East End) and editor of Sociology of Health and Illness has been told that his post is ‘at risk’ in a review of medical school staff, part of an exercise to save the medical school £3 million by means of a compulsory redundancy programme.More details...
