The current Editorial Team's term of office ends in June 2014 and they are not seeking any further submissions for their final issue.

Submissions to MSo are welcomed at any time and all articles, including commentaries, will be reviewed by two referees. Please bear in mind that due to the limited number of issues per year, there may be some delay to the publication of accepted articles but this will be kept as short as possible.

Articles & Commentaries

We welcome articles of between 4000 and 6000 words to include all text and references.

Articles reporting empirical research are especially welcome and should include an abstract of up to 200 words clearly stating the research aims and objectives.

A full description of the research methodology is required including details of ethical considerations. Any limitations of the study should be clearly stated. Please state the word count on the first page.

Articles offering critical commentaries on medical sociology topics are also welcome; please use this form to submit and put 'n/a' in any inappropriate fields on the form.

We are delighted to be able to publish Abstracts from recent completed PhD Theses and would like to hear from you if you been successful in gaining an award - or if you have recently supervised a successful student - so we can share the good news with the medical sociology community.

The awards will be published as we receive them, as well as in the formal Journal which is published 3 times a year. Please be aware that we may take steps to validate the details before publication.

Abstracts should ideal be no more than 200 words long and should be submitted electronically, through the journal website.
